We have pianos for sale, both grands and verticals. We deal in two basic types:
Reconditioned pianos: These pianos have been repaired using mostly original parts. This work should keep the piano serviceable for five to ten years depending on the original condition and how extensive the repairs are.
Rebuilt pianos: The work done to these instruments is much more extensive. Typical rebuilding of a grand would include new pinblock, music wire, repaired or replaced sound board, dampers, new action parts, rebuilding of pedal lyre and trapwork and case repair and refinishing. With proper maintenance, this work should last for a piano lifetime.
